At Obama-bling.com we're Colorado based long-time supporters of the historic Obama for America campaign.  Heide designed this amazing and beautiful Hope lapel pin for those who truly want to own and wear a very special commemorative symbol of support for Barack Obama.  We are proud to say that this is the only pin of its kind that has the approval of the Obama Campaign!  A portion of the proceeds from each sale during the campaign and the Inauguration has been contributed to the Obama for America campaign.

The Hope Pin was introduced at the Democratic National Convention here in our hometown of Demver in August 2008.  The pin sold out and people tore apart the displays to get the last few! This website was born from the desire we saw then so that we could reacj out to Obama fans all over the country!

This has been quite a journey and new dreams have been realized for many people! In November 2008 the Presidential Inaugural Committee asked Heide to design two exclusive lapel pins for the 2009 Inauguration.  Those two pins (Inaugural History and Renewing America's Promise) both feature the Presidential Inaugural Seal and are official pins that are only available through Obama-bling.com.

In January 2009 both Heide and Ken made the incredible journey of a lifetime to the Inauguration of President Barack Obama.  Several of the Obama-bling pins were featured at Washington D.C. and Colorado Inaugural Balls.  They have been worn by celebrities, countless government officials and even by some close personal friends of The Obamas. We know this because we hand delivered them to their hotel in Washington!

In July 2009, Heide's ultimate dream as a designer came true when nine of Heide's pin designs were accessioned to the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of National History. The Hope Pin and the Hope Lapel Pin are on rotating displays there and now are also sold at The Smithsonian's gift store.
